This three-day course is designed to provide the participant with the skills necessary to meet Rescue Technician Professional Qualifications, as defined by NFPA 1006, Standard for Rescue Technician Professional Qualifications Chapter 5 by teaching industrial response personnel how to safely and efficiently perform basic technical rescues in industrial environments from above ground structures such as water towers, construction sites and elevated areas.
Topics include basic rigging techniques, mechanical advantage systems, raising and lowering systems, methods of rescuing victims, and patient packaging.
